From urban data to ecosystem indicator

METEO station network with QA/QC and M2M telemetry, integrated into Helementa and combined with satellite/LiDAR to generate valuable indicators for planning and operation.

Objective and scope

Assessment of the benefits of urban trees (air, temperature, carbon, comfort) and support for green management decisions.

System architecture

Modular METEO stations with WD_DecoGateway v3.0 (ESP32 dual MCU, GSM/GPRS, GPS), edge (RPi Zero 2W), solar/battery power and proximity Wi-Fi.

Monitored variables

Temperature, relative humidity, pressure, precipitation, wind, UV radiation; air quality (CO₂ NDIR, O₃, NO₂, PM10/PM2.5) and geolocation.

Helementa platform

Real-time telemetry, thresholds/alerts, remote configuration, CSV download, user management, and basic auditing.

Analytical integration
